With manufacturing and sales offices located right across the world, our IT Manager role provides an excellent opportunity to contribute to the overall direction and success of the group. It plays a key role both supporting and enabling efficient business operations and participates in projects focused on business change and growth.   With budgetary responsibility the IT Manager will lead a small team and an outsourced facility management company with the clear remit to develop, manage, and secure the company’s worldwide IT infrastructure, in line with the company strategy and guidelines. The  IT Manager will play a key role in shaping the landscape for all applications and IT services and presents a great opportunity for someone with drive and energy to really make a difference to our business. Exposure to a wide range of countries and cultures also brings an extra dimension to the role as it has a global infrastructure management remit, and from a base in the UK is required to operate across a truly global business and across time zones.

Personal Specification:

The ideal person for this role will be an accomplished IT Manager with a strong track record of cost reduction, delivery effectiveness, benefit realisation and quality improvement. Strong technology, team/people and budget management capability is essential. A drive for innovative technology solutions matched with significant value leverage from IT expenditure and timely delivery of projects is a key focus of the role.  The right candidate will be familiar with all current Microsoft operating systems, will understand the operation of a virtualised server environment covering various brands and be familiar with the use of Citrix technology.As the Rotork WAN is based mostly on Cisco technology familiarity with this VPN technology is considered essential.
