Key Tasks:

Primary Responsibilities:1.      Design hydraulic manifolds, hydraulic power units, and other mechanical components.2.      Select and specify hydraulic system components.3.      Develop and conduct design validation tests.4.      Develop equipment specifications and work with vendors to source components and systems.5.      Write technical reports and product bulletins.6.      Manufacturing Process improvement and development.7.      Perform engineering analysis (e.g. stress, vibration).8.      Assist Quality department to resolve engineering related non-conformances (NCR), determine root causes, and establish corrective actions. 9.      Assist Service department with troubleshooting support for current and legacy products.10. Assist with the creation of job-specific installation, operation, and maintenance manuals.Skills and Experience Required1.      Bachelor of Science degree in Mechanical Engineering.2.      Experience designing hydraulic and electrical equipment.3.      Engineering change control4.      Must be proficient in Microsoft Word, Excel, and Project.5.      Experience with Solid Edge and Labview a plus.6.      Motivated, self-starter able to work independently.7.      Excellent oral and written communication skills.Must be thorough, accurate, and organized
