As a fast moving international company, we have a senior manager level role for an HR Manager (Generalist) to focus on HR delivery at the Bath site - a combined head office and principal manufacturing site of around 300 employees. Rotork has a strong 'people' culture and as such this role is highly visible, challenging and important.
Working with the management team at the Bath site, you will implement pragmatic and innovative HR practices to build performance and capability (internally and by recruitment excellence) and contribute to group-wide HR strategic planning and thinking. This is a wide ranging and hands-on role, a coach and mentor advising on all people matters and leading a capable team of HR Advisors.
Intellectually able and an experienced generalist, you will have a track record of developing successful business focused people interventions in a complex multi stakeholder environment, possibly in manufacturing or related industries. You will be a robust, confident, proactive, credible professional who can command respect across diverse groups, solve problems and communicate effectively across the entire organisation. You will also be someone who is comfortable making complex judgment calls at times without the certainty of sophisticated policy architecture.
Other key requirements will include experience of reward and benefit package, design and senior manager recruitment. Experience of running a successful HR team is essential. Naturally you will be CIPD qualified with up-to-date knowledge of employment law.
