IQ actuator models

Background info

The Actuator files have been created as single part files using Rotork’s native CAD system Solid Edge (version 12.00.05.02).
The external data has been modelled to provide an accurate representation of the envelope shape, but no internal detail has been modelled. Each Actuator variation has been modelled to avoid customers having to cut-and-paste components together (i.e. Handwheel and Base options).

download file formats

As there are a variety of CAD systems available around the world, which have their own formats, these files have been translated to make a number of formats available as follows:-

Please select your preferred format, which will take you to the download page

File extension
Description
Parasolid Format
This format is probably the best format for all Parasolid based CAD systems such as Solid Edge, SolidWorks, Pro Engineer, etc.
ACIS Format
This format is best suited to CAD systems based around the ACIS 3D Modelling Engine, such as Autodesk Inventor.
IGES Format
A well established neutral format, which can sometimes be cumbersome due to filesize, etc.
STEP Format
A more recent neutral format that can also support transfer of additional PDM data.
Stereolithography
The stereolithography format is a transfer format most used in manufacturing and is a standard input for most rapid prototyping machines. Although this format is widely recognised by many software systems, it cannot be imported into some of the more popular CAD modelling software.

Alternatively you may request to receive a CD ROM containing copies of the files in all above formats.
