The MK2 Foundation Fieldbus interface
module fitted to Rotork actuators provides the most up to
date network interface available. Foundation is the leading
network for process control and most closely reflects the
properties that are available in traditional analogue systems.
The Rotork FF-01 MK2 controls the actuator according to the published
data on the bus and the settings for its function blocks. It also publishes its own data on receipt of permission from the Link Active Scheduler.
Where special computation is required then the internal function blocks are configured to carry out the desired control strategy.
