Engineering Programme Manager, UK

“Working at Rotork has offered me fantastic opportunities to work with so many incredible people from all parts of the world. I am proud to consider myself part of this truly global team.”

My career started at Rotork in 2005 when I joined the team in Bath as an Advanced Engineering Apprentice. During my apprenticeship I spent time working in most of the departments within the business and it was this broad understanding that really laid the strong foundation for my career.

After completing my apprenticeship I started a role within our Inside Sales team, which then was subsequently followed by several roles across different countries, all focused on actuators for use in nuclear power plants. These roles included Sales Engineer – Nuclear [in both the UK and the USA], Nuclear Applications Manager [in the USA], and Project Manager - Nuclear Sales [in the UK]. Each of these roles provided different challenges, rewards and development opportunities which have all contributed to the progression of my career to date.

My current role is Engineering Programme Manager which is a varied and exciting role! It provides new challenges on a daily basis, pushing me further and enhancing my knowledge and understanding of the business whilst also allowing me to share my knowledge, enabling us all to grow together.
