Business Analyst

Position Summary:

About the role

We have an exciting opportunity for a Business Analyst to join our head office team. You will be responsible for analysing targeted business processes to identify change that will lead to improvements and efficiency gains. You will understand current processes and systems ensuring developed solutions are consistent with the organisations’ strategy as well as monitoring KPI’s and metrics to ensure adoption of delivered solutions.

Rotork are part way through a growth acceleration programme that requires a global ERP solution utilising Microsoft Dynamics D365 for both customer-facing offices and manufacturing plants.

This role will primarily focus on providing an ERP solution for the global operations business function through design, construction and implementation leading to ongoing support and continuous improvement. 

Rotork actively encourages the development of their employees and will support the attainment of the professional BCS International Diploma in Business Analysis.

You’ll be responsible for:

  • Assist with the identification, capture and creation of Requirements, Project Scope, solution documents, Training Plans and related material as required
  • Collaborate with stakeholders and business analysts to identify gaps and opportunities for improvements in current processes
  • Providing testing and training support as required to ensure developed solutions are accepted and adopted by stakeholders
  • Support the creation and development of Requirements, Project Scope, Use Cases, Test Plans, Training Plans and related material as required
  • Review and analyse business processes, KPI’s and support requests to identify improvements and efficiency gains

About You

To be considered for our Business Analyst role you’ll have strong problem solving skills and be comfortable working under pressure on multiple tasks within your project timeframes.

You’ll also have:

  • A good understanding of business processes and systems
  • Knowledge of Business process analysis frameworks, methods and toolsets
  • Experience of Problem management, prioritisation, resolution of issues and acceptance of solutions
  • Experience in developing, leading and implementing process change
  • Experience with integrated Sales and ERP systems
  • Knowledge and experience of manufacturing operations and business processes
