Position Summary
The Financial Analyst is an experienced business professional with a strong finance background to support the US Commercial Finance Controller in managing the accounting, reporting and forecasting for the US Commercial business.
The Opportunity
Reporting into the Financial Controller (Commercial), this role will work closely with the centralised accounting team to support daily data requests, monthly financial close and periodic forecasting/budgeting activities and providing critical support in the generation of timely reports and analysis.
The opportunity provided will be able to develop and provide to key stakeholders reports on a daily, weekly and monthly basis to inform them of progress on key indicators such as order intake, sales revenue, orderbook value, inventory and other productivity measures.
Experience Requirements
- Experience with ERP and Business Intelligence systems
- Experience in Power Query / Power BI applications.
- Experience in cleansing, organising and managing large sets of data with ODBC links via Access databases and Excel workbooks.
- High level of proficiency in Microsoft Office products, chiefly managing Access databases.
The Successful Candidate
- Experience of ERP system changes / upgrades would be beneficial.
- Worked for a manufacturing company.
- Familiar with financial consolidation tools (SAP BPC / Hyperion/ OneStream).
- Ability to use initiative and confidence to drive and simplify processes
- Experience in Power Query / Power BI applications.
