Head of Chemical, Process and Industrial (CPI) - Americas

Position Summary:

The Opportunity

Lead the CPI sales strategy for Rotork across the Americas.

The Head of CPI Americas will report into the MD CPI (a Board level position) to lead sales growth among OEMs and end users, as well as growing Rotork’s channel partners and distribution network in the region. We are looking for an experienced and ambitious Head of Sales who understands our market and knows the customers and route to market within the industry, and has driven significant business growth in this sector previously. This role requires a strategic thinker who can manage sales teams and formulate growth strategies to develop new markets.

This is an exciting time to join Rotork, as we are moving from a regional, product focused structure to an end market functional structure and pushing ahead with our major Growth Acceleration Plan (GAP).

This role requires significant travel within the region and internationally.

Headline Objectives:

  • Drive the CPI sales strategy and delivery across the Americas (USA, Canada, LatAm)
  • Overall responsibility for CPI regional sales forecasting, KPIs, results and leadership
  • Deliver wider strategic goals in line with the sector, wider End Markets teams, and Rotork vision
  • Direct customer ownership and sales activity through the sales teams
  • Drive strategic and operational excellence across different channels
  • Lead and coach sales teams towards Rotork vision and strategy
  • Collaborate across the business on business intelligence, product roadmap planning, budget and growth plans for the region, and more as required
  • Support the Growth Acceleration Plan as a senior leader in the region

Experience Requirements:

  • Relevant and deep sector experience, including significant senior sales experience and track record of success in manufacturing or similarly relevant sector, ideally with experience across all our target markets (USA, Canada, LatAm)
  • Knowledge and experience of best practice sales techniques
  • Prior experience of growing and developing a business
  • Significant leadership experience of large, regionally-dispersed teams
  • Deep experience developing channel partners/distribution within the Americas region
