About the role
The Legal function are central to supporting the Group in its growth acceleration programme and we are looking for a Head of Compliance and Employment Law to join our team.
You’ll be responsible for providing legal support to the Rotork Group on employment matters (both contentious and non-contentious). Ensure Rotork adheres to legal standards and in-house policies with responsibility for enforcing regulations in all aspects of business plus providing guidance on compliance matters.
You’ll be involved in developing control systems to prevent or deal with violations of legal guidelines and internal policies. Continually improving control and driving compliance across the business. Provide advice on employment matters to leaders and HR teams and provide training on relevant law changes and updates. With a professional and pragmatic approach, you will be required to build strong working relationships with a range of people.
You’ll already have extensive post qualification employment law experience of working within a legal compliance capacity, ideally within an engineering or technical environment. Knowledgeable, confident and a concise communicator you’ll be commercially aware and confident in your approach. Global employment law experience within a transformational and change environment would be advantageous.
