HR Advisor

Position Summary

We have a fantastic temporary opportunity for an HR Advisor to join us at our Netherlands site with responsibility for delivering first line advisory support service to a workforce of 50 employees across 2 sites (Losser and Rotterdam).

The Opportunity

Reporting to the Regional HR Manager (EMEA) you’ll provide guidance to managers to enable effective delivery of strategic HR initiatives and proactively support managers and employees with best practice HR advice to deliver a high performance workforce.

 

You’ll be responsible for:

  • Direct recruitment including sourcing, interviewing and issuing contracts ensuring an excellent candidate experience throughout
  • Ensuring HR policies and procedures are embedded across the business and make proactive suggestions in developing robust systems and ways of working
  • Managing ER issues, support and coach managers to ensure effective management of ER cases and escalating as necessary
  • Proactively manage the wellbeing of our people
  • Proactively manage the performance management process, guide and train managers
  • Acting as a HR system super user and ensure data is accurate
  • Deliver Group UK initiatives at a local site level
  • Generic administrative duties
  • Generic payroll activities

 

This is a fast paced environment, often juggling multiple conflicting priorities and would suit a proactive and driven HR Advisor looking wanting a standalone role but work together with the wider HR community. We are looking for someone who can illustrate our key values, we put people at the heart of our thinking to enable their success, this role would play a key role in achieving our modern and diverse people strategy.

Experience Requirements

  • HR/Business qualification
  • Strong HR advisory experience ideally with experience of supporting and delivering projects
  • High level of Employment Law knowledge and experience of managing complex cases
  • Ability to influence and challenge key stakeholders
  • High level of resilience and comfortable dealing with ambiguity
  • IT proficient: SharePoint, Microsoft Office, HRIS
  • Bilingual in Dutch and English language (spoken and written)

  • Able to establish productive relationships, comfortable working with people at all levels
