Infrastructure Engineer (3rd Line Support)

Position Summary
This is a pivotal role within the IT department where you will take the helm with our IT environments; designing, building and maintain them. On offer is the chance to have real influence in driving how Rotork tackles crucial issues in the IT space.
The Opportunity
Reporting to the Global Service Level Manager, you will work as part of a sizeable team to support the customer base and achieve other business objectives.
In this role you will have a range of responsibilities based around infrastructure needs like planning updates, implementing new on-prem hardware/ software elements and produce quality technical documentation of all processes. You will also support more complex requests that have been escalated and need you to the SME to solve them.
The ideal candidate will be an analytical thinker, be adaptable to a multitude of situations and have excellent communication skills.
Experience Requirements
- Solid knowledge of IT Infrastructure, mainly physical infrastructures like data centres or telephony
- Ability to produce accurate and concise technical documentation
- Experience of delivering IT incident and problem management activities
