Position Summary

This role will build a culture of high performance and accountability with a constant focus on driving customer value and on time delivery. You will engage cross-business contributors and stakeholders, nurturing collaboration where everyone respects each other and our values.

The Opportunity

Reporting to the Head of IT Projects and working closely with the other Heads of IT, you will be responsible for leading effective project and programme management controls, to enable successful delivery of the IT Portfolio.

In this role you will support the successful delivery of all IT projects during an exciting period of significant change, including implementing, managing and improving PMO controls; ensuring on time delivery; implementing and managing project gate reviews; and defining and maintaining standards for successful portfolio, programme and project execution.

This role would suit someone with a strong IT PMO Management background, who has experience working within a global matrix organisation.

Experience Requirements

• Proven experience in IT PMO Management, operating effectively within a global matrix organisation
• Project and/or programme management qualification
• Highly motivated, self-starter with a personal commitment to delivery
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills

• Ability to relate to and influence all levels of an organization
• Influences and resolves complex requirements challenges across the IT function
• Highly numerate and with an organised analytical mind and ability to summarise and present findings and suggestions in a structured, coherent, professional manner
• Creates new and better ways for the organisation to be successful
