PMO Co-ordinator

Reports To: Global Head of IT Projects
Position Summary:

It’s an exciting time for Rotork.  We have big plans to develop our global IT systems over the next 5 years.  It’s a fast-paced environment and a growing team where we are maturing our own internal PMO Methodology including the overall framework, tools and templates.  There is a great deal of work to do, many sites and users to support, and much to learn.

We are looking for a highly organised and energetic person who has aspirations in IT project management or PMO coordination.  You will be assisting with growth and maturity of this structure, as well as assisting the Project Managers on some larger projects.  You’ll help drive projects by supporting the project planning, progress tracking and reporting of projects; all the time helping us to ensure we are on track.

You’ll also be responsible for:-

  • Assisting Project Managers in identifying and communciating the methodology and templates to be used on a project.
  • Assit in capturing and managing project risks and issues.
  • Ensure knowledge capture and management by enforcing document control and deliverables tracking via SharePoint.
  • Build and maintain internal relationships (including project manager, project team, business user groups, finance function).
  • Manage external relationships (including consultants, contractors, hardware and software vendors).


About You

You’ll be a proactive, self-motivated professional who can handle themselves with integrity as you will be dealing with all levels of the organisation.  You are quickly able to build rapport and are keen to raise the profile of the department.  You will be able to produce high-quality work at a fast pace, maintaining the utmost attention to detail.  You will also have strong MS Office and organisational skills.  

You’ll also have:-

  • Experience in roles with similar scope and responsibilities.
  • IT experience including involvement in IT project related administration and/or technical roles.
  • Good understanding and aptitude for financial and accounting processes.
  • Strong understanding and application of Project Management competencies including scope, time, costs, quality, HR, communications, risk, procurement and integration.
  • Good stakeholder management, coordination, negotiation and dispute resolution skills.
