Position Summary

Fixed Term Contract (Maternity Cover)

This role is key to the continuous improvements made to our purchased materials, components and assemblies through monitoring, testing, and reporting issues to help prevent re-occurrence of actual and potential product failures.

The Opportunity

Reporting to the Quality Manager you will be working within a growing, highly dedicated team of Engineers and Technicians within the Quality department, working alongside Engineering and Operation teams.

In this role you will be responsible for the identification of failure modes in products and components and will therefore identify an effective corrective and preventative actions, provide reports for customers and suppliers regarding product faults and drive projects to improve or close out DPPM and CC trend items, to system closure.

This role would suit a person can work well with others and alone as well as having the ability to communicate at all levels.

Experience Requirements

• Experience of initiating and coordinating improvement activities.
• Have experience of a manufacturing environment with electro/mechanical equipment
• Experience of using formal root cause analysis tools 8D, 5Y and fishbone

The Successful Candidate

• Is a self-motivated, assured professional
• Can demonstrate the ability to interpret analysis into, concise and accurate report writing
• Has excellent IT skills
