Regional Accountant (O&G Business Analyst)


  • Reports To: Divisional Finance Director Oil & Gas
  • Location: Houston, TX

Position Summary

The role will support the Divisional Finance Director (DFD) analyzing the performance of the division and also support the Regional Finance Manager.  it will suport DFD with financial control of all of the companies in their division and particularly within the designated region.

 

The Opportunity

It will assist subsidiaries in the region in understanding financial results and developing plans for bringing results back to forecasted and/or budgeted levels and require working with all members of the Oil & Gas division, development of monthly reporting pack (in conjunction with Group FP&A), finance report, content for business reviews and any required adhoc analysis and proactively contribute to performance and have an active role in meetings, presentations and discussions.

The position will support RFM and local controllers with control of statutory and management accounting for the region’s separate legal entities, provide support for subsidiary accountants within the region across all aspects of the business act as a gateway to Group with regards to questions, instructions and deadlines.

The role will require working with all members of the Oil & Gas division, take responsibility for providing accurate insightful analysis of financial and industry data to aid performance management. 

The production and ongoing development of monthly reporting pack (in conjunction with Group FP&A), finance report, content for business reviews and any required adhoc analysis and proactively contribute to performance and have an active role in meetings, presentations and discussions.

Experience Requirements

• Management of ERP implementation in the region
• Reviews balance sheet accounts and monitoring of capital/cash
• and improve Rotork's accounting systems / procedures

The Successful Candidate

• Hold a Finance Degree and/or professional qualifications
• Excellent analytical and problem solving skills
• Enjoy international travel and a multi-cultural environment
