Regional Risk and Compliance Analyst

Position Summary

Review plans and lead activities related to the review and improvement of the Americas Region financial reporting structure to support mitigation, planning and control activities in accordance with the Business Control Framework.

The Opportunity

This person will report directly to the Americas Regional Finance Manager, providing support in the mitigation, planning and control activities to guide and assist the business units in developing, documenting and maintaining an internal control structure in accordance with Rotork’s Business Control Framework. 

This person will also serve as a backup to the Financial Controllers on month end activities and ad-hoc tasks to support coverage across the finance team.  The role will provide support to the Regional Financial Manager with consolidation and reporting activities.

Experience Requirements

  • Hold a degree in Accounting, Finance or equivalent finance focused subject.
  • Minimum 5+ years accounting or finance experience.
  • Minimum 2+ years audit and compliance experience.
  • Strong financial modelling skills, as well as business and data analysis skills
  • Proven  business partnering experience.
  • Excellent use of spreadsheets and databases, MS Office (Power Query / Power BI experience sought) and used several ERP systems. Familiar with financial consolidation tools (SAP BPC, Hyperion).
  • Experience in applying Lean and Continuous Improvement principles.
  • This role requires 35% - 40% travel, including outside of the US.
