RSS Senior Sales Engineer

Position Summary

To be a point of reference for Rotork site services (RSS) for spare parts using your specific skills or experience to quote Rotork spare parts from stock while working closely with the US customer services team for non-stock items.

The Opportunity

Working alongside the External Sales team, you will build relationships with customers by the efficient turnaround of requests for aftermarket spares/parts quotations and conversion to orders.

The role will require you to produce timely quotations for a range of standard and customised spares solutions to meet the customer's requirements. You will then be required to discuss this with the customer and drive receipt of a purchase order while looking to upsell to site services solutions.

Experience Requirements

  • Strong Customer Service experience typically 3+ years’ experience in a relevant role
  • In-depth product knowledge and specific experience in own discipline
  • Basic Engineering or Technical knowledge of all aspects of the Inside Sales Engineer’s role

The Successful Candidate

Good communication skills, customer focused, strong multitasker and good at executing tasks

High level of quoting accuracy

Ability to work independently and part of a wider team

Core Competencies

  • Experience in using ERP Systems
  • Degree or Engineering/ Technical Qualification -entry level role (or equivalent)
  • Technical understanding of spares parts and usage
  • Understanding of site services
