Your concrete assignment as a Sales Manager is to increase customer satisfaction with existing and new customers in Germany and the Netherlands. Leading a team of 4 outside sales engineers. This is the perfect moment for a driven professional to step in, to realize their ambitions together with Rotork and of course to realize your own ambitions.

In the first year you have built a good relationship with some of Rotork’s most important customers. You do everything for your customers and that is how you push your teammates to a higher level.

With this you make a significant contribution to the growth objectives of this driven organization. It is their ambition in the coming years to introduce even more customers to the solutions that Rotork has to offer.


How are you going to handle that?

Freedom and responsibility: You always put the interests of your customers first. Based on the input of the customer, you quickly offer the right solution and give input to inside sales to prepare quotations for various standard and customized solutions, answer (technical) questions from customers and monitor the follow-up of the quotations. You are and remain the fixed point of contact for customers throughout the entire process.

Team player: You are the main point of contact for customers. You are in close contact with the field service and with Inside Sales who realize the desired solutions on location at the customer or make the quote. Are you someone who easily takes ownership and thinks in solutions? Then you are a perfect fit for this driven and positive organization.

Leader: Lead sales teams to deliver against Rotork vision and strategy and manage and coach sales team, ensuring their readiness for sales actions and growth.

Not hierarchical: Rotork is a flat organization where a lot of value is attached to positive feedback and team objectives are worked on. There is a "can do" mentality where everyone takes responsibility to increase customer satisfaction.


What do you bring?

Technology: You have work experience in and affinity with technology. For example, in electrical engineering, hydraulics or pneumatics. In any case, you are able to quickly understand technology and to answer technical questions clearly.

Customer-oriented: You think and work customer-oriented, switch quickly and you can prioritize.

Commerce: You recognize commercial opportunities at customer and market level.

Communication: You communicate clearly in word and in writing, in both German and English.

Ownership and positivity: You are a real team player with a hands-on mentality, and you feel and take ownership for your customers.

Leadership: You are a leader and lead your team to success.
