Technical Architect

Reports To: Head of Infrastructure
Position Summary:

The Opportunity

Reporting to the Head of Infrastructure, the Technology Architect will analyse business requirements and work closely with the relevant stakeholders to ensure obsolescence is managed and technology solutions are designed and implemented.

They will do this by owning and leading on the design, implementation and evolution of the technology landscape as well as leading technology architecture activities with stakeholders to understand business requirements, overcome barriers and gain buy in.

They will act as the subject matter expert within specialist area (Networks and Unified Communications, On-Prem Infrastructure and Cloud Infrastructure), interpreting industry good practice and other broad policy for Rotork.

Experience Requirements:

  • Degree or relevant qualification in Computer Science Mathematics, Statistics,
  • Engineering, or a quantitative discipline
  • Evidence of defining IT processes, structures, architecture and capabilities
  • Experience of building and managing system infrastructures for global organizations
  • Experience of Business Analysis and Business Process design
  • Experience with Disaster Recovery design, Windows Server, Azure migration (AWS migration), SAN, Active Directory, VMware, Obsolescence management, Back up & recovery and business continuity
