GT actuators are used for rapid fail-safe operations, such as

emergency shutdown (ESD). The Soldo limit switch indicates the open and closed positions of the GT.

The NAMUR solenoid valve allows partial stroke testing of the actuator, allowing partial movement of the piston without opening or closing the valve under control. The Fairchild filter regulator controls the flow of exhaust gas from pneumatic operation and filters any impurities.

Whereas the GT actuator converts pneumatic energy into linear motion, the K-Tork regulator converts it into angular motion and is, therefore, useful for opening normally closed butterfly valves or closing normally closed open butterfly valves. The fast speed of operation facilitates ESD. The YT positioner measures the position of the valve. The filter regulator controls the flow of exhaust gas from pneumatic operation and filters any impurities.

As for the K-Tork actuator, the RC200 actuator converts pneumatic energy into angular motion and can open and close butterfly valves. The Soldo limit switch prevents the valve from moving beyond its open and closed positions and the NAMUR solenoid valve enables partial stroke testing.
