IW
The IW14 and above large worm gearboxes have been designed for very high torques in isolating duty applications, with low or no maintenance requirements. They are used mainly for motorised applications but can be used manually or with power tools.
Features
1. Heat treated and ground worm gear supported by taper roller bearings. Ground shims used to minimise backlash and improve accuracy in the gear system.
2. Ductile iron housing.
3. Grease filled for life and fully sealed to IP67 as standard.
4. Comprehensive gear ratio with combination spur and planetary gear reducers.
5. Adjustable mechanical stops at 0° and 90° +/- 5°.
