EU Cyber Resilience Act
The EU Cyber Resilience Act (CRA) sets out new requirements for organisations that supply products with digital elements in the EU. These rules apply regardless of where a business is based and cover the full product lifecycle.
Rotork’s approach
Supporting secure products in a changing threat landscape
As industrial operations become increasingly connected, cybersecurity is more important than ever. Products that were once isolated are now often integrated into wider digital networks, creating new opportunities but also new security risks.
The EU Cyber Resilience Act (CRA) has been introduced to help strengthen cybersecurity across connected products and ensure a consistent approach to managing cyber risks throughout a product's lifecycle.
If you suspect a cybersecurity vulnerability, incident or security-related issue involving a Rotork product, please report it to our Product Security Incident Response Team (PSIRT). We take all reports seriously and will investigate them promptly.
Strengthening cybersecurity for the future
At Rotork, cybersecurity is a fundamental part of how we design, develop and support our products. We are committed to helping customers operate safely, securely and with confidence in an increasingly connected world.
We continuously invest in cybersecurity capabilities, secure product development practices and ongoing risk management to help protect our products and systems against evolving threats. We also work closely with customers, industry partners and regulatory bodies to ensure our solutions meet applicable cybersecurity requirements and support compliance with emerging regulations, including the Cyber Resilience Act.
By embedding security into our products and processes, we help customers reduce risk, improve resilience and maintain the integrity of their critical operations.
The EU Cyber Resilience Act (CRA) establishes cybersecurity requirements for products with digital elements that are placed on the European market. The regulation applies across the product lifecycle, from development and delivery through to ongoing support.
The CRA aims to improve the security and resilience of connected products by introducing consistent cybersecurity expectations for manufacturers and suppliers. For Rotork, this aligns with our commitment to designing and supporting secure, reliable solutions that help customers protect critical infrastructure and industrial operations.

How Rotork has prepared for the Cyber Resilience Act
The Cyber Resilience Act (CRA) introduces new requirements for manufacturers of connected products, strengthening cybersecurity expectations across the European market. While meeting these requirements presents new challenges, it also provides an opportunity to further reinforce the security, reliability and resilience that our customers expect from Rotork products and solutions.
At Rotork, cybersecurity is an integral part of how we design, develop and support our products. We are taking a proactive approach to understanding and implementing the requirements of the CRA across our business, ensuring that compliance is embedded throughout the product lifecycle.
This includes reviewing and strengthening our cybersecurity processes, risk management practices and product development frameworks where required. We are incorporating relevant regulatory requirements into our engineering, testing and support activities to ensure our products continue to meet evolving security expectations.
We are actively assessing the impact of the CRA across our product portfolio and operations, using a structured approach to identify any necessary changes and support compliance. As requirements develop, we will continue to keep customers informed of relevant updates and provide guidance where needed.
Our focus remains on delivering secure, reliable and resilient solutions that help our customers operate safely and confidently in an increasingly connected world.
