In addition, the Business is ready to define, specify, develop, and implement the next generation of systems that will enable our business processes for years to come.

GAP is deploying an integrated business system, with best practice processes and on-line access to information. These improvements will result in benefits of streamlining the business, greater efficiency, and cost savings.

Also included in phase 1 are: a new global quotation system, and the entire sales and fulfilment lifecycle - processing of customer orders from quotation enquiry through factory and 3rd party ordering, to delivery to the customer. The scope of the project is divided into 5 business areas, each of which has a Process Owner: Quotations and Sales; Customer Order Fulfilment; Finance and Job Costing; Site Services and Employee Management.

Phase 2 is about the implementation of a GAP solution in 28 manufacturing sites, and the achievement of world class supply chain performance through Class A MRPII.

The future ERP/CRM systems will replace these systems with modern software. The selection process and initial stages of specification and development are imminent. It is important that we build a strong team to support the Sales processes.

Group Risk and Internal Audit Manager This is an exceptional opportunity for somebody to work within a growing global business in a position with main Board and management Board exposure. This could be a gateway into the organisation, offering the potential to move into operational or head office finance roles in the future. It will therefore suit an ambitious accountant and team player with the highest ethical standards.

The role has dual aspects covering both Risk Management and Internal Audit across the Rotork Group. The Group Risk and Internal Audit Manager is expected to provide direct support to the Head of Risk and Internal Audit in establishing and administering an effective risk management framework across all organisational levels of the Group and in leading and operating the Group Internal Audit function and providing assurance over financial, operational and compliance risks of the Group and effectiveness of internal controls.

The risk and internal audit functions at Rotork are currently outsourced to PwC. Since July last year PwC have provided support and last November took on the HoRIA role as well as two other positions in the central team, albeit all on a part-time basis. This appointment would be the first to start bringing this function back in house and would work closely with the PwC team in a co-source model.

Regular international travel is expected to be 25% of working time depending on the requirements of the Internal Audit programme and emerging risks to the Group. This is a very hands-on team so travel will be in connection with carrying out internal audits or delivering risk workshops.
