Apprentice Quality Inspector

Position Summary
The Apprentice Quality Inspector will provide succession planning for the quality department and become a fully functioning quality inspector.
The Opportunity
In this role you will actively contribute to the success of the department, and gain a wide knowledge of business and understanding of the interactions between different departments.
Key responsibilities will include establishing a good mechanical engineering knowledge, reading and interpreting engineering product drawings and associated specifications, and gaining an appreciation of basic design, machining and assembly.
You will also have the opportunity to learn about and contribute to our implementation of modern manufacturing philosophies such as Lean and Six Sigma.
Experience Requirements
- BTEC Level 2 or GCSE(s) (Grade 4+)

- Willingness to learn
- Willingness to search out issues within the internal business processes and rectify
- Working to a deadline
- Ability to work as part of a team, and also on an individual basis
- Capable of setting and maintaining excellent housekeeping standards for the team
