Position Summary:

Engineering Architect – Test Automation

The Opportunity

Provide strategic technical leadership to ensure optimised test strategies and tools are in place to support the product roadmap and lead the execution of these test strategies.

Reporting to the Global Head of Engineering Performance, you’ll work as a part of the Engineering Management Team, providing test leadership for product, hardware, and software testing, responsible for implementing the latest technology.

You’ll develop Rotork’s Global Test Automation strategy with roadmap, ensuring the design and implementation of robust full build / deploy / test automation process across product, hardware, embedded software, server/cloud software, and app based product teams.

This is a unique opportunity to shape Rotork’s Global Testing process, directly influence the future strategy and how we implement it.

Experience Requirements:

  • Degree or equivalent in an engineering or science discipline
  • Proven experience developing strategic system architecture plans
  • Full understanding of the test life cycle and approach
  • Experience of working in a formal engineering environment and complying to regulatory standards
  • Experience of designing, developing and executing unit, integration, system and performance tests both positive and negative testing
  • Experience of creating internal standards and working practices, of launching and embedding them into the organisation
  • Automation of testing software, firmware, electronic hardware, and products
