Product Manager – Services and Aftermarket 

About the role  

The Product Management team at Rotork is a newly created team and we have a new position for a Product Manager. You’ll be responsible for leading a product line from both a product management and product marketing perspective. You will maximise revenue and margin tied to the product line, formulate product roadmaps and identify opportunities for new product development.

This is a perfect opportunity for someone to join the business bringing with them fresh ideas that will support the team drive functional excellence in identifying customer needs and value drivers, creating new value propositions and business opportunities including new offerings to optimise and enhance the portfolios. 

About you  

Having succeeded in a similar Product Management role, you’ll come with pervious product management experience with an aptitude for understanding customer voice to develop competitive strategies and plans. You’ll ideally have a broad understanding of either Oil & Gas, Power & Water or Chemicals and Industrials markets. You should come from an engineering / technical background enabling you to engage in technical discussions with customers and colleagues. You will be an expert in how Services is intricately tied with long-term revenue, warranties / entitlements, spares, etc. Have an ability to utilize and leverage data including that from product lifecycles, field service requests and engineering reliability models to devise optimal service programs. Have and understanding of control systems, field devices and mobile applications to enable the development of new offerings based on condition monitoring, remote diagnostics and predictive analytics. Have a deep understanding of how service and maintenance procedures and processes can be leveraged to design new business models to enhance revenue and profitability. Be able to drive creative utilization of third-party and partners to enhance service offerings and improve responsiveness to customer needs.
