FAQs

Aside from the input shaft material change between standard and Arcor treated, what physical differences are there between the standard and aggressive service/buried service builds?

Aggressive duty is basically the same as standard duty except for the input shaft material. The buried duty input shaft is also Arcor treated, but on worm gearboxes the rotating indicator is proteced with a fixed buried cover. The nameplate on buried and aggressive build would be st/st rather than a printed polyester label. Options for st/st input shaft and fasteners is available on all gearboxes.
